e' il paragrafo UG. della sezione VIII dell'"ASME code" (American Society of Mechanical Engineers)e dunque non va tradotto:
ASME / API / TEMA Pubblicato per la prima volta nel 1914-15, il codice ASME (ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code , BPVC) e' stato il primo insieme di regole per la progettazione, ispezione e verifica dei recipienti in pressione. Impiegato negli Stati Uniti ed in molte altre nazioni e' certamente il codice piu' diffuso e la sua introduzione ha contribuito in modo significativo al miglioramento della tecnologia dei recipienti in pressione. La sezione VIII dell' ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code si applica ai recipienti in pressione mentre lo standard API Standard 620 definisce le modalita' di progettazione dei recipienti operanti a bassa pressione e non oggetto dello standard ASME. Infine le norme TEMA (Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association) si applicano agli scambiatori di calore a fascio tubiero.

se il tuo testo è invece una stima di lavori di ingegneria civile, si tratta del PARAMETRO UOMINI-GIORNO(par. UG.), che è un coefficiente attraverso cui si calcola il numero di persone e di giorni necesssari alla costruzione di una determinata opera.

if it is a wall
it may be Height because many specifications use H to indicate Height because in Italian it would be "A" which is not often used, it seems to me Height/weight. Unless the rest of the text indicates differently. If you place H/peso on Google, all the hits you get in return is Height or Hour, but I don't think this is the case. I hope it helps
