Explanation:
Essendo scritto in maiuscolo, direi che si può riferire proprio al nome di una strada particolare, altrimenti, in minuscolo sarebbe "strada principale", "principale via commerciale" e si riferisce alla via sulla quale, in ogni città, c'è la maggiore concentrazione di negozi. Tutte le città, quindi, hanno una "High Street" (che in America è "Main Street").
