I am translating legal text related to arbitration, I I think it is more financial related, here is the context: "This contract was Washed-out at a significant cost difference in Sellers' favour (US$1.30 per bushel)"
"The Parties agreed that the Washout differential of US$1.30 per bushel in Sellers' favour would be added to the price of the present Contract and that, moreover, Buyers would open a bank guarantee in Sellers' favour in the amount of the Washout price differential, namely, US$2,866,141.98 latest by 11 May 2004. The terms of this Agreement were set out in an e-mail from Sellers to Buyers dated 4 May 2004."
