Traipsing through the milestones of Soviet animated propoganda Explanation: If the author is being ironic and critical, then you could hint at this by translating "пробежка" creatively. Literally it would be something like a "run through the milestones" - similar to an overview. "Traipse" could convey a lack of purpose or the translators unwillingness to view these "milestones" as achievements worthy of this description. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2006-12-17 09:30:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I might add that "animated Soviet propAganda (spelled wrong in answer)" sounds better to my ear, but if "animated propaganda" is a fixed term, then Soviet could precede it. |
