This is a term from a company newsletter in which they highlight the beginning of Joakim Noah's career. In an interview, he describes watching a NY Knicks game live:
What kind of shot is a "panier primé" ? Having trouble finding a translation, let alone an explanation. Thanks to all who can help!

According to Wikipedia's account of the Eastern conference, this was the kind of goal Larry Johnson scored!

Note from asker:
Actually, I think I've found that it's a four-point play. It combines a 3-point shot during which the player is fouled, and a free throw for the foul. Sorry, I shouldn't have asked this question without thoroughly checking all venues of research. |

bonus hoop

Sometimes at half time, players shoot hoops for money bonuses. Sometimes they shoot from the middle of the court or shoot as many hoops as possible against the clock. I think we could describe this as bonus hoop.
This could also be a bonus for shooting a hoop in the last minutes of the game i.e on the buzzer.

Yes, your right. My basketball mad partner explained that if you get fouled whilst dunking. You get an extra free throw.
