To rkillings: I suppose we will never know. Like other questions that remain open for ever...
rkillings Jan 28, 2008:
So what was it that nobody came close to? Do tell or risk being shunned.:-(
L.J.Wessel van Leeuwen Jan 28, 2008:
Thanks. But... how are you translating it?
rkillings Jan 25, 2008:
Are you sure those characters are letter o's, not zeroes or subscripts?
L.J.Wessel van Leeuwen Jan 24, 2008:
Gregory, read my answer and the note, and comment I made to a peer.
Gregory Flanders Jan 24, 2008:
FWIW, a google search for "prix po" turned up a lot of hits with pdf files -- apparently it is a term used in accounting. On the other hand, I wasn't able to find anything with "prix fo".
Rod Nelson (asker) Jan 23, 2008:
The document is from France; the term appears in the "Prix" section of the contract. No prices are given, however. Prices are "fermes". That's the context.
Sheila Wilson Jan 23, 2008:
I'm sure you can give us more context than 'a contract'. For a start, what type of contract? Where in the contract does it appear? Normally there are sections to a contract. What was the text before and after? Are prices/prizes mentioned elsewhere?

Sea port and Free on Board

Po = I think it is a typo and should be PM standing for "port maritime ou port de mer (sea port )" and FO = Fob
Peer comment(s):

neutral Sheila Wilson : I doubt that they are incoterms eg FOB as these are all 3 char and there's nothing like Po// http://www.conex.fr/cm/index/infos_pratiques/Incoterms_2000/...

Your suggestion? Pardon my ingnorance but what is an incoterm> FOB means Free on Board as opposed to cif which is cost insurance and freight.
