German term or phrase: wechseln (here)
Context:

In die Anzeige „Melderelais Zuordnung“, Melderelais 1 wechseln.

Sorry this is such a basic question, but I just can't decide whether this really means you need to change alarm relay 1, as it seems, or actually means "Switch to the the "Alarm relay assignment" screen...", as it is followed later on in the same document by:

"In die Anzeige „Melderelais Funktion“ wechseln",

which to me clearly means "Switch to the the "Alarm relay assignment" screen". In that case though, what to do with "Melderelais 1 wechseln" in the top sentence?

Explanation:
On second thoughts, I think it probably simply means

'In die Anzeige „Melderelais Zuordnung“ [für/von] Melderelais 1 wechseln.'

i.e. 'Switch to the the "Alarm relay assignment" screen for alarm relay 1'

... which pretty much boils down to the same as my comment in the discussion box really!

I can see that there is scope for a sketch here:

The "The".
The who?
No, not the "Who", the "The"!
