Hm...
In a really big manual translated from Italian into English (production line) I have the word only once:
This format does not have the enervator.
Format = cigarette format.
If I may kindly ask somebody to try to apply another English word, so that I could understand what it is. I do have a pdf, but there is no picture of any "enervator" in it.
Thanks :)

I think this is it
togliere le nervature = to remove bumps or curls, to flatten
snervatore o snervatrice

P.S. I forgot to mention that, in my opinion, "enervator" is a mistranslation of (macchina) snervatrice or (apparecchio) snervatore
he...he... from ITA to improper ENG and back to ITA and then to correct ENG... rather enervating!!! :-)

Note from asker:
:) :) Daniela, it goes also into Polish :). Now I am trying to imagine what a "corvette" is :). Usually I have such problems with the job once every six months, but it isn't my day today :) |
