Spanish term

diferencial

Non-PRO Spanish to English Bus/Financial Marketing Marketing documentation
Document on mobile 'phone technology:

"es posible y diferencial recibir notificaciones en tiempo real"

I don't understand the meaning of 'diferencial' in this context. Do they simply mean that it's innovative?

Not sure it helps much but here it is (with proprietary names blanked out for confidentiality purposes): 'Gracias a la tecnología X de X, es posible y diferencial recibir notificaciones en tiempo real.'

Well the context is clear, but the meaning of the word really isn't (to me anyway). Other possibility is "distinguishable" (http://www.spanishdict.com/translate/diferencial).
Check also meaning No 5 here: http://buscon.rae.es/draeI/SrvltConsulta?TIPO_BUS=3&LEMA=cul... so it might refer to something distinct, outstanding or such..

Thanks Martina. Glad I'm not the only one to be baffled...
