Romanian term

bloc adenopatic

neutral liz askew : only one hit...and we usually use "lymphadenopathy"

it seems that "lymphadenopathy" is a generic term for all types of lymph nodes diseases (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lymphadenopathy), while "adenopathic block" refers to a specific disease of the lymph nodes.

https://rjp.com.ro/articles/2018.1/RJP_2018_1_RO_Art-03.pdf

"lymph nodes which are adherent to each other and thus harbour a pathology. While matting is usually typically equivalent to malignancy, it can also occur in tuberculosis or sarcoidosis."

Thank you, Mihaela and Liz, helpful as usual. And yes, somebody should post an answer... :)

agree Mihaela Petrican : lymph node metastasis, definitely. Excellent rationing considering that Romanian is not a working language for you, Liz (maybe in the future ? :))

Dear Mihaela, please post an answer...I just like the research:)
neutral Daniel Grigoras : @Mihaela P.: carefull! from what I read, Liz mentioned "axillary lymph node grouping?" as a possible equivalent for "bloc adenopatic"

agree Maria Diaconu : Hi, Liz, I also found the phrase "matted lymph nodes" referring to the lymph nodes which are stuck to each other (Rom. "bloc adenopatic") http://www.medicalgeek.com/disease-syndromes-procedures/7026...
