Otra posibilidad, si se quiere explicitar, aunque me parece acertada la propuesta de José Manuel. Entiendo que la modificación se referiría a cambios leves, mientras que la reformulación se referiría a partes del contrato cuya redacción ha cambiado bastante o que se han redactado de nuevo.
