Is home insurance the same as building insurance?

Essentially, home insurance takes the form of either buildings or contents insurance, or a combined policy which includes both.

Em Portugal, o seguro Lar/Casa/Habitação obriga a dois seguros:
Seguro Vida
Seguro Multirriscos

De acordo com o que encontrei nas explicações acima, parece-me tratar-se do último para particulares ("individuals").

Poderá realmente ser contratado um "seguro coletivo (do condomínio do edifício) que cobre os mesmos riscos que o seguro multirriscos, mas nem me quero pronunciar muito. O assunto em si é aborrecido e... eu que o diga.
