The Throttle Sweep function automatically moves the throttle from the
null (idle) state to wide open throttle.
1. Select Throttle Sweep in the ECM Special Functions menu, then
press ENTER .
An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as
directed:
- Turn the ignition on. DO NOT start the engine.
2. Choose Next to continue.

values for the TAC Motor
Command, TP Sensor 1, TP
Sensor 2, TAC Motor and TP
Sensors 1 and 2.
3. Choose Start to begin the test and observe results on the display.
4. Choose Stop to end the test before wide open throttle is reached
and return the throttle to the null (idle) state.
5. Choose Exit to return to the ECM Special Functions menu.
