Italian term
portafogliare (verb)
"To portfolio" seems to be a false friend and rare, to do with mortgages/investments. So does this here mean just "sent"?

presented to me
Unfortunately, Adrian's answer is completely wrong, as either didn't read, or didn't understand the context; the logging and recording happened far earlier in the process, and the matter is now considerably further down the line, being reviewed by someone else.. This is about handing the file from one clerical officer to another, hence " present" here.
to log; copy into the record
Inductively from the context, rather than 'deductively' from the Italian:
in quanto portafogliatomi ieri […] nel fascicolo cartaceo : insofar as [Jo Bloggs / di Baggio] ... yesterday copied me into the record in the paper file / box-file bundle.
-> if the fascicolo cartaceo is meant to contrast with a fascicolo digitale: e-file, then the paper file is added to the client's bundle/ Schedule of Exhibits for case (UK) listing (USA) docketing.
(ri)portafogliar in the first example sentence : (re-)log; (re-)index; (re-)record.
Possibilità di *portafogliare* la lista al momento dell'acquisizione, oppure *riportafogliarla* a seguito eventi di riordino o quotidianamente.
The case log function on Portfolio Online is intended as an online version of a log book. It allows you to keep notes for the cases you see,
