réapairage See comment below... Explanation: Well, in informal techy language, we'd say 'cannibalization' --- the dismantling of faulty units so that the parts can be re-used to assemble good ones. Julia has of course hit the nail on the head, though I would disagree with her suggested use of the term 'sorting'. But I can't for the life of me think of a more formally 'correct' technical term! Depending on the register of the document, maybe you COULD use 'cannibalization' in quotes!? |
