Die Garantie kommt jedoch erst im Erlebensfall nach Ablauf der vereinbarten Vertragsdauer zum Tragen." http://www.skandia.at/loesungen/smart.htm#zwei Fragebogen/Questionnaire: Kennen Sie Fonds oder Mischfonds mit **Höchststandsgarantie**? http://www.adaturb.de/german/questions.html Do you happen to know about funds or mixed funds with **top rating warranty**? http://www.adaturb.de/english/questions.html |

Höchststandsgarantie Barrie, I'd be a bit wary of the term "top rating warranty" ... Explanation: ... as it sounds like a bad translation (and the rest of the cited page isn't too good either). At the same time, I'm not sure if there's a kosher term for this. However, in Aus/NZ they appear to call it "rising capital guarantee": http://www.canopus.co.nz/managedfunds.html "These managed futures funds feature a rising capital guarantee given by a major Australian bank, which locks in fund profits while avoiding fund losses for the investor ..." Or there's this hit from the IoM (I think): "Added security through unique monthly ‘lock-in’ of any increase in the protected price." http://www.google.de/search?q=cache:PFhlEUI2PwYJ:www.mcb.net... To cut a long story short, if I was translating the text, I'd probably use something like "100% capital protection and profit lock-in guarantee". ("Guaranteed monthly lock-in" might work too, although it might be misconstrued as a freebie for heavy drinkers.) |
