probacion

Explanation:

1. Is parole the same as probation? (primer link)

No. Probation is a period of supervision in the community imposed by the court as an alternative to imprisonment. Parole is the release of a prisoner to supervision in the community after he/she has completed a part of his/her sentence in an institution.

Parole: a) The release of a prisoner whose term has not expired on condition of sustained lawful behavior that is subject to regular monitoring by an officer of the law for a set period of time. b)
The duration of such conditional release.

Probation: a) The act of suspending the sentence of a person convicted of a criminal offense and granting that person PROVISIONAL FREEDOM on the promise of good behavior.
¡Suerte!
