In this day and age where Email is the major communication tool across the globe, it is important that an organization as large as ours, has an email etiquette policy. The objective is to have all comply with these simple rules/guidelines. This will make us more proficient as a company by showing our professional standards. It will convey a professional image for ABC. It will promote efficiency, emails that are to the point, are much more effective than poorly worded Emails, and lastly for protections from liability. Employee awareness of Email risks will protect our company from costly lawsuits.
