... Bei der Montage des R134a-Kompressors ist zu beachten, dass der Feuchtigkeitsgehalt des Kältemittelöls unmittelbar vor dem Einfüllen nicht höher als 2000 ppm sein darf.

Der Feuchtigkeitsgehalt (moisture content) ist eine dimensionslose Größe im Bereich (0, 1) und wird je nach Sachgebiet/Zweckmäßigkeit vorzugsweise in Prozent (*100), ppm (*1000000) oder in Bruchform (*1) angegeben. Wie sibsab bin auch ich der Ansicht, dass die fragliche Angabe sich auf das (Kältemittel-)öl bezieht (nach den Ausführungen in [1] ist diese Annahme sicherlich berechtigt). Die Bezeichnung "total weight" ist hier eher überflüssig bzw. verfehlt und sollte daher unübersetzt bleiben.
