Are you sure your question from Eng>Spa?

From what I can see, in Spanish (probably from the latin) it is "testamurs". However and going by your context, I suspect that in English, it's "testimonial" (character reference...usually written).

En realidad, lo encontré en un diccionario EN>IT como "certificati di promozione" (English-Italian Dictionary 1.00)
Definiciones: 1)the certificate students receive at their graduation ceremony or after successfully graduating in their course of study.
2) certificate of passing university examination.

Testamur es un término latín y podría ser (enfatizo "podría" ya que mis conocimientos de latín son escasos) el equivalente al español "testificar", el cual es sinónimo, entre otros, de certificar, refrendar, legitimar, legalizar, rubricar, jurar, garantizar
