Can anybody tell me the meaning of this term??
Has it got to do with steering???

In a real driving situation the input to the steering system is random. I'm not sure where the "critical" bit comes in, but could be related to the ability of the servo-system to keep up, since all such systems exhibit lag and overshoot.
