La longueur de la ligne ne dépend pas de celle de la canne, mais de la profondeur de pêche qu’elle dépasse de 50 cm à un mètre maximum.

agree  Mark Nathan: I am sure I have seen pictures of fishermen who manage to sit on a vertical pole in the water for hours on end. Sorry, that's stilt fishing.
