Selected
during selection
Works produced before 2005 will be penalised during selection by the jury
(if its for the first round)
The alternative would be 'during judgement/adjudication by the jury'
My idea of the way film festivals work is that anyone can send in their film and all work sent will be viewed. From this initial viewing a certain amount of films will be selected, and from the selected work the jury makes a final judgement or adjudication

la cosa più semplice e più corretta è dargli un valore temporale!
