Chinese to English: 三乐 General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Poetry & Literature
Source text - Chinese
Translation - English The Three Joys
There are three true true joys in the human world. The first is called FAMILIAR JOY,the second MENTAL JOY and the third TEACHING JOY.Mencius told: “Thy parents live and thy brethrens die not, which we name one of the joys.”In fact,it’s FAMILIAR JOY.He also exhorted: “Neither feel guilty towards the divine nor the mortal, which we name another one of the joys.”So it is MENTAL JOY.Finally mentioned he: “Have elites in this country come to be taught by thou, which we name the third one of the joys.”And that is TEACHING JOY.
Whereas,FAMILIAR JOY isn’t only focused on parents and brethrens.Apart from that, four objects must be included--in-laws gain joys from you;children get good education from you;relatives fare well with you;married daughters reunite regularly with you—with one exception FAMILIAR JOY doesn’t exist any more.
Similarly,MENTAL JOY involves other factors. If you obey the rules where the world runs and comform to the virtues as sages do,your joy never ends;otherwise,it soon wanes.
Also TEACHING JOY incorporates people with better qualities and feats who can teach me other than learn from me.That can be more joyous. These Three Joys are true joys to us human beings.People who prefer joys from bewildering things to them must suffer more and relish less.Because they blind people’s minds, the knowledgeable don’t attend to them.

Source text - English SECOND LIVES
by Daniel Alarcón
Luz modified whatever game we played, never apologizing, and we rarely minded letting her win, whether at cards or dominoes or hide-and-seek; in fact, it didn’t feel like a concession at all. My brother, who usually kept a studied distance from me and all things preadolescent, regressed in her company, becoming, as if by magic, a gentler, more innocent version of himself.
Often Luz would let us watch an hour of cartoons while she rested on the couch with an arm draped over her face. We thought she was asleep, exhausted from so much winning, but every time a news break came on Luz would sit up in a flash, cover our eyes, and make us press our hands over our ears. The news in those days was not for children, she always said, and I took her word for it. But afterward, when I had opened my eyes and was blinking hopefully at the television, waiting for the cartoons to come back on, Francisco would say, “Did you see that, little brother? That’s why I’m leaving.”
Chinese to English: THE ECONOMIC VALUE EVALUATION SYSTEM OF RADIO SPECTRUM RESOURCES General field: Science Detailed field: Economics
Translation - English The difference between the benchmark price of spectrum and spectrum price to be estimated arises generally from that of the factors that influence the spectrum price. So if only the condition level of the test and assessment index of every factor corresponding to the benchmark price is determined, and so is that corresponding to the spectrum price to be estimated, the influence degrees and correction proportions towards the spectrum price which are caused by different factors in different standards can be obtained by way of corresponding comparisons and analyses. Therefore, the system which corrects the price from the benchmark price to the spectrum price to be estimated, can be got under different condition levels of the test and assessment indices of the factors. Hence, in the following paragraphs, by virtue of drawing lessons from the thinking of the correction coefficient calculation when applying pricing method by comparison for real estate marketing introduced in the last article, the correction coefficient of radio spectrum price can be concluded under in terms of different factors.
