This seems to be a set phrase, which appears in varous forms in (primarily) Belgian texts. The vast majority of google hits for the direct translation 'entrusted assets' are from non-native sources (mostly Japanese and Chinese). Perhaps it's equivalent to 'assets under management', or perhaps 'total customer accounts'.
