Looking for the OFFICIAL term used in Israeli courts for a Stalker
...and while we're at it also the term for Harass (anything besides Matrid or Matridan)

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Oct 23, 2002:
Answers to Simon Simon: I'm confused. I gave the context - it is a legal term where someone is defined as a Stalker.
The language pair is Hebrew > English (where, I thought, I posted the question)
And last: Hopefully Harass has NOTHING to do with your family name - it means to bother someone.
Simon Charass Oct 23, 2002:
Can you give more context? What's the language pair? What Harass is? Id like to know considering my family name.

matrid, tsayad-, tzalaf, depending on the context.

Ashi - I called the Ministry of Justice and talked to an English speaker, working in a very high position there. There is no legal word for stalker, other than matrid or matridan. Sorry. Maybe you can play Ben Yehuda and suggest one?
Peer comment(s):

neutral Y (X) : In this context it's matrid(an). Tzayad in some contexts. Tzalaf = sharpshooter, sniper.
