- Locally, cinnabar forms massive sulfide aggregates, or cinnabar bands of massive ore alternate with the bands of other sulfides (pyrite, sphalerite).
- The mineralized zone is built up of alternating bands of thin layers of massive sulfide ore, chert, tuff and tuffite. Dissemination-veinlet type of mineralisation does not contain high-grade ore. Pyrite is the most abundant mineral. Sphalerite is the primary ore mineral, accompanied by galena, chalcopyrite, tetrahedrite, while bornite and arsenopyrite rarely occur.
