My particular source uses a full-point after the R, i.e. [OR. 2], and runs from [OR. 2] to [OR. 8], inserted as references (?) in the text.
I suppose the logical step would be to follow the lead provided by the other languages on the above page I have given as an example and omit it, but I’m not so sure I can do that with my text.
