I hope someone can help me with this as I am not sure of the meaning here:

Je suis préoccupé par l'épaule gauche. Articulation active: 90 de fléxion, Abduction 80 degrés (mouvement très précoce de l'omoplate), rotation externe de 30 degrés. Mettre sa main dans le dos, la main peut atteindre le sacrum. Passivement, je peux déplacer l'humérus à 90 degrés de l'enlèvement.

"enlèvement" is clearly used in the same way as the English "abduction". Quote: "Le deltoïde moyen est soulignée par l'enlèvement, ce qui est quand l'épaule se déplace sur le côté"

"90 degrees of abduction" is the position of the arm after being abducted by 90 degrees.
"•Teres Minor Strength ◦external rotation tested with the arm held in 90 degrees of abduction
•Hornblower's sign ◦positive if the arm falls into internal rotation it may represent teres minor pathology.
◦technique ◾bring the shoulder to 90 degrees of abduction, 90 degrees of external rotation..."

Of course, "90 degrés de l'enlèvement" is very unusual French! "90 degrés d'enlèvement" would be more understandable, and even better would be "90 degrés d'abduction", as in English.

I thought it was important to add this short note, as nobody should ever translate "90 degrees of abduction" by "90 degrés de l'enlèvement", if translating in the opposite direction!!
