Sie soll beim DD als „leichte Ramsnase“ ausgebildet sein, also im vorderen Drittel leicht nach oben gewölbt sein.
Dadurch wird der Riechraum vergrößert, mit dem Ziel, dass sich in dem Bereich mehr Riechzellen ausbilden können und damit die anatomischen Voraussetzungen für eine bessere Nasenleistung ermöglichen.
