Norwegian term

jomfru

Norwegian to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering pile-driving, piles
Ved bruk av jomfru uten strekkfast forbindelse til pelen kan fallhøyden økes med 15 %
specialist pile driver machine.
I found only one reference to a "rammer".
(It sounds kind of illogical that a jomfru would be the rammer, if you see what I mean...

size counts The links you provide show a hand-held tool, not a huge pile driver...
I think the name comes from the triangular shape, see the wikipedia link.
The oldest (even Roman) pile drivers had that same shape!

Here you see a tool that is called both "jomfru" and "stamper": https://www.finn.no/bap/webstore/ad.html?finnkode=105778616

Or see this Wikipedia article on Jomfru that also names "Stamperedskap til bruk f.eks. ved brolegging" https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jomfru
