Valdría la pena confirmar con algún dermatólogo.

agree  ezpz: Acabo de añadir escisión como opción, pero no había visto la tuya antes de postear xD Lo de remoción (removal) en español-castellano no se entiende como eliminar sino como mover/trasladar.

En vez de podar, podrías usar extirpación o escisión.

Yo lo he leído como una codificación de mayor a menor, dividida por las barras /.
Cirugía > *Escisión, Sistema Tegumentario* > Lesión hiperqueratótica beninga

Aquí en la pág. 106 traducen unos ejemplos del sistema americano para relacionarla a la sanidad española:

  -> Yes, I think the system doesn't need further translation, it's a sub-group, including the skin but also hair and nails. I thought podar would be a good, *generic* term for those kinds of surgical removals. I added escisión, but it's similar to Nestor's.
