agree writeaway : knowing French is always handy for translating Belgian Dutch-too bad question wasn't listed under "Flemish" since for Proz that is a separate language (but not Canadian French, eh?);-) /good point! one that has to be pondered.. hmmmm

The interesting question with the 'Flemish' category is whether it's a token effort in the direction of recogising national/regional differences or an inadvertent misunderstanding...
