English term

trust a company as a new hire

English to Chinese Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology) onboarding
That's where a well-executed onboarding program comes in. If it hits the right notes, onboarding can help new hires be more productive in a shorter time frame, while also engaging them in the company's culture and business goals, practitioners say. "Onboarding is like a first impression -- it leads someone to {trust a company as a new hire} and have great thoughts about them -- or not," says Rachel Russell, who oversees research at TEKsystems, an IT staffing, talent management and services provider.
it leads someone to trust a company as a new hire
it leads someone as a new hire to trust a company
someone应该是a new hire(新员工)才对啊,怎么会是a company是a new hire呢?

The position of "as a new hire" is not misleading at all to me. It is not in conflict with your interpretation. Even it is placed after a company, it still refers back to someone.
Ying Wang Jul 4, 2013:
我的理解是:as a new hire 既修饰someone, 也修饰trust a company, 表示以新员工的态度来信任公司。
clearwater (asker) Jul 4, 2013:
as a new hire 应当挪到someone后面才对。
Ying Wang Jul 4, 2013:
句式:lead someone to XXX as a new hire, as a new hire 修饰someone。
clearwater (asker) Jul 4, 2013:
可是trust a company as a new hire的字面意思明明是把a company当作a new hire的啊?!

Note from asker:
您是不是也认为it leads someone to trust a company as a new hire实为it leads someone as a new hire to trust a company ?
