6.3.1 PICKLING OF TURBINE OIL PIPES

All pipes to be cleaned thoroughly from scale or foreign matter before pickling takes place. Internal cleaning to be carried out by mechanical means as follows: scaling, "bearing off", pulling-through brushes, pulling-through leather washers.
Pickling of oil pipes for steam turbines to be strictly in accordance with the following specification:
