Finalement... Ma conclusion précédente était fausse, puisque l'orthographe du mot entier ne coïncidait pas avec "décomposition"! en chechant encore, j'ai abouti à des textes d'origine allemande dans lesquels ce mot signifiait: compensation. Compenssation des frais donc.

Really! Après avoir cherché "high and low", j'en viens à la conclusion qu'il doit s'agir d'une faute de frappe sur le texte. Le R étant près du D, cela donne "decomposition of costs", ce qui va bien mieux. Désolée si vous avez cherché aussi et merci donc.

After reading your explanation after going through the text that you have written going through the German text, I find that <compensation des frais ou coûtes> seems more correct.
