An alternative version of tray detect sensor that works in conjunction with a reflector, to create a though-beam sensor, may also be used. The two scanner arrangement is capable of detecting A/B versions of matching pairs of patterns. This is achieved by the ***state*** or sequence in which the two scanners are activated and is dependent on whether the fruit is in the corner or not.
