For expats in a country with a positive cost of living index (as determined on the build up calculation in place at the time of bonus payment), the bonus will be subject to notional UK tax and NI deduction and the net bonus will be calculated using the spendable income and **home commitments split** and COL [cost of living] from the build up [calculation].
