English term

scream team

English to German Other
"The scream team is back."
In this context play on the words "dream team", meaning that the team is a bunch of scared people. Unfortunately it is not possible to leave it in English since it's for a movie (it's a subtitle). Any good suggestions?

Schrei Verein

Just a suggestion.. : )
Btw, why can't it be left the way it is? The movie title "Scream" was not translated either. It just would not make sense if you translate phrases like this.

die Verschreckten / die Verängstigten

It´s difficult to translate the word "team" in this context.

Die Angsthasen...

...sind wieder da, maybe, if you need to keep the "are back" in the translation. But it's nicer without. If it's about a team as in sports, the hares (hasen) would also give a connotation like other teams call themselves the eagles, bears, whatever.

Bangebande

"Dream team" is so well known here in Germany and "scream" is also pretty well eingegermaned. I agree with Christina that it probably needn't be translated. If you are forced to, another possibility might be "Bangebande".
