Industrial production in January came higher than expected at 11.67% and has presumably eliminated some of the negative sentiment that stemmed from the December figure that took markets by surprise (and once again not us, as we had estimated no change in one of our models and around -1% in the other). When we look at seasonally adjusted figures, 6MMA and 12MMA figures do not suggest any problems on the industrial production front, at least not yet.
