presente? Explanation: Dear Traci, in the case of someone\'s biograhy, in Italian we tend to use the present! i.e. Dopo essere ritornato nel 1997, lavora in un bar... Laureatosi in economia, si trasferisce in America per... But you could also use the past tense or the present tense, it depends on how you decide to translate the text it in the first place. It\'s a bit difficult to explain here. Can you submit a longer piece (like 20 lines, from the beginning), and I will be able to help... Giovanni |
