Na stronie konsulatu generalnego RP w NY "reconstructed" przetłumaczono jako "zrekonstruowany".
Dodatkowo, na stronie Departmentu Transportu Stanu Pensylwania jest następująca definicja:
"A vehicle, other than an antique or classic vehicle, for which a certificate of salvage was issued and is thereafter restored to operating condition to meet the vehicle equipment and inspection standards."
Z definicji tej wynika, że pojazd taki został "zrekonstruowany" (odnowiony) i znowu nadaje się do użytku na drogach.
