Kontekst: Pooled estimates of the log-odds for all the cohort studies were obtained by weighting the individual values by the
reciprocal of their sampling variances. A x2 test was
performed to confirm that there was no significant heterogeneity
and the variance of the pooled estimates was
obtained from the reciprocal of the sum of the weights.
Data from the two case–control studies were not included in
the pooled estimates.
