Post-tension pile anchor foundation Description: Unlike reinforcement concrete slabs used in building and flyway road construction that can be post-tensioned to accommodate structure settling, anchor piles used to support tall structures are pre-tensioned and their static structures can only accommodate compressive forces. This design for a post-tensioned anchor pile foundation comprises a concrete cylindrical foundation cap to which the base of a transmission tower, commercial sign or wind turbine towers is bolted fixed. Extending through the cap are 30 evenly spaced anchor bolts with their extensions embedded in a 30 foot concrete pile anchor, which is cast into the underlying soil. Located between each anchor pile and the base of the foundation cap is a hollow polyurethane disc that forms a void or highly compressible space. As the anchor bolt is post-tensioned against the cap, the disc is compressed or crushed allowing the pile anchor and the cap to be pulled towards each other to provide a secure foundation for the tower supported on the foundation. Once the tower is levelled, grout is pumped under high pressure into the space remaining within the disc. The post-tensioned anchor pile foundation enables multiple re-tensioning between the cap and anchor piles following seismic activity that may have caused the upright tower to tilt fractionally. U ovom tekstu in nazivaju "anchor piles" što bi po analogiji sa "anchor bolt" (anker-zavrtanj" bilo anker-šipovi, baš kao što sam i predložila. Kada bih ja prevodila prevela bih ovako. :) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 17 hrs (2010-05-30 11:16:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Samo da dodam da ova vrsta šipova spada u šipove kod kojih se vrši naknadno prednaprezanje. |
