"unit-linked" is "en unités de compte" as opposed to "contrats en francs", which performance is linked to the underlying investments (a better deal for insurers as they do not have to deliver performance when they have not achived it). I suppose class III would be "de catégorie 3" but I suspect this is EC jargon so you may wanna check on their site.
