Die englische Definition dafür lautet: "Those thermocouples made of fabric or plastic covered wire. The wire is provided in coils or on spools. Insulation usually consists of glass braid, asbestos, or ceramic fiber cloth on each conductor plus glass braid overall."

Gibt es eine eindeutige deutsche Bezeichnung (eventuell aus einer der ASTM entsprechenden deutschen oder EU Norm)?

Leider ist dies auch nur ein "guess", aber hier sind 2 zusätzliche Erklärungen:

1. Thermocouple Tips are used by steel plants and foundries for measurement of molten metal temperature in arc furnaces, ladles and continuous casting machines while Converters and Samplers are used to draw metal samples from furnaces, ladles etc.

2. Multi Immersion thermocouple tips are used for multiple temperature measurement in induction furnaces in foundries. Carbon cups are used for measurement of carbon equivalent, carbon and silicon in iron in foundries.

Wenn man also davon ausgeht, dass es "multi immersion thermocouples" und "expendable thermocouples" gibt, dann würde ich daraus schließen, dass letztere als "Einwegthermoelemente" bezeichnet werden können....

Asker: mit "Einweg" oder "Einmal" kann ich mich nicht anfreunden. Bei "thermocouple tips" sicher richtig, weil diese wirklich nur einmal verwendet werden. Die "expandable thermocouples" sind aber in der mir vorliegenden Richtlinie auch als zur "Wiederverwendung" geeignet angegeben. Expendable kann im Zusammenhang mit Material auch "Verbrauchs- oder Verschleiß- bedeuten. Meine Frage war gewesen, ob jemand eine eindeutige "deutsche Bezeichnung" dafür kennt.

  -> Danke schön! Ja den Katalog von Coesfeld habe ich in dem Zusammenhang auch gefunden! scheint Hierzulande tatsächlich kein gebräuchlicher Ausdruck zu sein!

Einmal-Thermoelement


Explanation:
"Einmal-Thermoelement" oder "Einwegthermoelement": beide Bezeichnungen sind m.E. treffend. Leider scheint hierzulande weder die eine noch die andere Benennung üblich zu sein. Einwegthermoelement habe ich nirgendwo im Internet auftreiben können. Ein Coesfelder Unternehmen bietet ein "Einmal-Thermoelement" an. Aber auch dieser Terminus ist nicht gerade geläufig, sondern scheint selbst eher "einmalig" zu sein.
Englische Ausdrücke dagegen gibt reihenweise: Expendable Thermocouple, Disposable Thermocouple, Thermocouple-Tips, Temperature Tips, Immersion Thermocouple, Throw-away type Thermocouple (Quelle: (Electronics & Instruments Pvt Ltd. Kolkata, India ).
