French term or phrase: bercer
« L’ Andante espressivo » viendra bientôt bercer l'auditeur par le calme d'un thème des « Romances sans paroles ». Se promenant du piano aux cordes, cette mélodie évoluera toujours avec la même quiétude, interrompue vivement par l'arrivée du « Scherzo » (Molto Allegro quasi presto).

Je pense que "soothe" serait peut-être une possibilité dans ce contexte?

English translation:soothe
Explanation:
I would also go with soothe, the word "bercer" has the image of rocking a baby to sleep. " Lull" is another possible verb you could use, but it tends to be used more in the context of "lull someone to sleep" (hence the word "lullaby"), or "lull into a false sense of security", neither of which fit this context well.

becalm / placate

Explanation:
I prefer "becalm" of my two options as it gives the impression of keeping any "stormy weather" (figuratively) at bay.

Example sentence(s):
  • "Sleepwell P2 - MUSIC FOR BECALMING and easy entering into sleep MP3 download."
