Somnolent is more appropriate than say "drowsy".

The word "posypiajace" conveys the tendency to be drowsy or sleepy. This could be a "pathological" sign in the premature baby. Therefore "somnolence", I think, would be more appropriate.It will be helpful to see the sentence or sentenses before this expression.
