Windsurfing - these are parts of a windsurf. I thought the word in English was boom, but I´m not sure whether you can use this for both puxão and retranca

boom and uphaul

puxão=line that raise the sail, known as an uphaul in sailing

boom=retranca, the light metallic bar that runs perpendicular to the mast and spreads the sail and holds it in place....

by the way, y ou can't say a windsurf in English, you have to say a windsurf BOARD or windsurfing board.

retranca = boom / puxão = uphaul rope

A retranca é onde você coloca as mãos, e o puxão é uma cordinha que você usa para puxar a vela quando ela cai na água.
