Discussion

Fernanda Castro (asker) Mar 24, 2011:
So, kashew, can't a catenary sag be a flecha?

forget the whole peça principal... and consider that i have these terms related:
Dimensão Tamanho Corda Flecha
Distância Flecha
Leitura Flecha
kashew Mar 24, 2011:
To Asker: If that definition fits your real context I agree totally. It was your "a FLECHA é a peça principal sobre que gira uma máquina" which made me ask the question.
Incidentally, for airmailrpl, I do know what catenary sag is, having been a railway engineer.
All the best.
Fernanda Castro (asker) Mar 23, 2011:
Achei de onde saiu o texto do glossário que eu tenho, do seguinte dicionário
http://www.priberam.pt/dlpo/default.aspx?pal=flecha

Fernanda Castro (asker) Mar 23, 2011:
Yes... I know I posted sth that leads everyone to think it's a mechanical part, which I also thought at first (as it came written in the glossary), but through the pictures that was all I could find, and I think it makes sense. In case anything changes, I'll let you know.
airmailrpl Mar 23, 2011:
flecha => sag Look at Fernanda's references and you will have no doubt that flecha => sag
kashew Mar 23, 2011:
